Proposed Permanent Road Closure of Tinto Road in Welshpool

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997 of the City’s intention to close 2,925m² of unmade Tinto Road in Welshpool.

The City is undertaking the road closure as this portion of road is not constructed and is no longer required as a part of the City’s future road network. The road reserve land will remain Crown Reserve to be managed by the City for the use of a Drainage Basin.

Submissions on the proposal can be emailed to laura.colasante@canning.wa.gov.au or made in writing to the City of Canning, Locked Bag 80, Welshpool WA 6986 no later than 5pm, Wednesday, 20 August 2025.
