New HVAC system for Riverton Leisureplex
The Riverton Leisureplex will soon benefit from a new Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system for the northern wing, which houses the Bill Cole Function Centre and FITT Factory.
Installation of the new system, expected to start in June, will ensure a more comfortable environment with better ventilation and temperature control for customers who use the Bill Cole meeting rooms and group fitness venues.
While there will be some disruptions to customers who use these areas, the City of Canning will seek to minimise this by carrying out the work in stages, and existing classes will be temporarily relocated to suitable venues, where possible.
We appreciate your patience while this is being organised and will keep you up to date as much as possible. For more information, please view the Frequently Asked Questions section below.
Both of the City of Canning’s Leisureplexes, in Cannington and Riverton, are currently undergoing extensive renovations as part of the City’s asset renewal program. To stay up to date on the Leisure Renovations, visit: canning.wa.gov.au/leisurerenovations.
