Youth Fest

Each year our Youth Services team runs the City of Canning Youth Fest.

Youth Fest is the City’s largest event for young people. Youth Fest brings young people to together to have fun, connect, engage in activities and make new friends for a fun day. It is a free event with free food, DJs, photo booths, inflatables, and lots more fun activities.

Youth Fest is a drug, smoke and alcohol-free event for families, young people and the community.

Kick Off Youth Fest

Get ready for an unforgettable day out as Canning gears up for its next Youth Fest on Friday, 20 September at Wyong Park, Bentley. This day of celebration is not just for the youth but open to all family and friends.

This FREE one-day extravaganza aims to create a vibrant space for young people aged 11-17 to connect, have a blast, and make lasting memories. There will be free food, live music, DJs, photo booths, and a range of fun activities. Grab this opportunity to meet representatives from our community services like Youth Services, Canning Libraries and more.

What to expect

  • Inflatables including a bouncy castle, gladiator dual and more.
  • FREE food.
  • Live Community Radio Station playing all your favourite hits.
  • Photobooth to capture all your moments with printable photos to take home.
  • Heaps of chill and art activities with local services like headspace, MercyCare, Canning Ranger service with Ranger Buddy, our Canning Libraries crew , and Edmund Rice Centre WA.

Information for parents and guardians

We are committed to providing environments where young people can feel welcomed and thrive. Our qualified youth team will do all they can to ensure young people are safe, supported and supervised during their time at the event.

The Youth Fest is delivered in line with current Department of Health COVID safety recommendations.
