The ‘Assessment’ number is unique to your account and is located at the top right of your rates notice. Please ensure you have not made a typing mistake when entering the assessment number as it needs to be validated in order to register for electronic delivery of that account. It must be the most recent notice you have received, older notices will have outdated assessment numbers.

Data for rate notices is extracted several weeks prior to issue, as notices are printed and distributed by an external service provider. The extracted data includes instructions for the provider to either issue the notice by post or via email.

If you registered for eRates after the data extraction process was completed, the delivery method for your account would have already been set to postal delivery. As a result, your current notice may still be issued by post. Your updated eRates preference will apply to future notices.

Since the email address is not monitored, no action will be taken on your response. You will not receive a bounce or undeliverable notification. Please ensure you contact the City directly on 1300 422 664.

You or your property manager will need to contact the City to advise rates notices should be forwarded to your Property Manager as they are now responsible for making payment of the rates on your behalf.
