Women's Wellness Sessions

Cannington Leisureplex's Women's Wellness Sessions offer a unique opportunity for women to have a well-rounded and active lifestyle.

The sessions provide full access to a range of fitness activities, including swimming and Aqua Fit Aerobic session.

The sessions provide a welcoming space for women to enjoy swimming, working out and socialising in a private and secure setting. This year, we have some exciting additions to the program:

• Access to the luxurious Wellness Suite, which includes a spa, sauna, and steam room.
• Extended operating hours and services.

Women's Wellness Sessions

During summer, Women's Wellness Sessions will run every Sunday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Cannington Leisureplex. The sessions will not be running on the following dates:

• Sunday 24 December 2024
• Sunday 1 January 2025
• Sunday 26 December 2025
• Sunday 20 April 2025 (Easter Sunday)

No admittance for males over the age of 6 years old.

What's on offer

Swimming lessons

Women’s Wellness Swimming Lesson will now move to an ongoing program.

Commencing 21 July 2024 enrolments will now continue until such a time as you advise us you wish to stop.

• Each session runs for 45 minutes.
• Session times available at 6.15pm, 7pm and 7.45pm.
• Cost is $14.50 per lesson, charged on a fortnightly direct debit.

Safer swimming guidelines

Watch Around Water is a public awareness program addressing concerns about the supervision of young children at public swimming pools.

At the Leisureplexes:

• Children under six years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult and must be within arm’s reach whilst in the centre.
• Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult and supervised within line of sight whilst in the centre.
• All unsupervised children will be removed from the water.
