From 11 December 2024 to 4 February 2025, the City will be buzzing with a range of enriching and entertaining programs designed for children of all ages, from babies to youths. Whether your little one is a budding artist, a sports enthusiast, or a nature lover, there's something for everyone to explore and enjoy. Leisureplex Creche and Play Centre
Our creches at Riverton and Cannington are open throughout the school holidays and have activities for little ones aged 12 weeks to 6 years.
The Play Centre is designed for children aged 0 to eight years old. It is colourful, safe and air conditioned, and includes two slides, a small flying fox, and a super fun ball pit. There’s also a separate play area for tiny tots.

Libraries
The City of Canning has libraries in Riverton, Cannington, Willetton, at the Hillview Hub and at CREEC.
Youth Services
Our Youth Services team run programs, activities, and events to help the young people of Canning to connect, create, chill, and upskill.
Leisureplexes
There are Leisureplexes in Cannington and Riverton. They feature indoor swimming pools, gyms, sports courts, function centres and much more.
