Swim School break direct debit information

Canning Swim School’s end of year break is fast approaching, and we wish to remind customers that swimming lessons will stop on Sunday 22 December 2024 and resume on Monday 6 January 2025.

Whilst you will not be charged for lessons that would have occurred during this time, please refer to the below guide to understand what happens with on your direct debit cycle.

Monday 9 December direct debit

If your direct debit cycle falls on Monday 9 December your direct debits will occur as follows:

• Monday 9 December – Your direct debit will be for two weeks.
• Monday 23 December – No charge.
• Monday 6 January 2025 – Normal direct debit charges to occur.

Example

Levi’s usual swimming day is Thursday, and his direct debit falls on Monday December 9. His parents will be charged for two lessons on December 9 to cover Thursday lessons on December 12 and December 19.

On Monday December 23, they won’t be charged anything, as there are no lessons on Thursday, December 26, or Thursday January 2.

On Monday January 6, Levi’s direct debit will cover two lessons for Thursday January 16, 2025.

Monday 16 December direct debit

If your direct debit cycle falls on Monday, December 16, your payments will occur as follows:

• Monday, December 16: Your direct debit will be for one week only.
  This charge is covering lessons from Monday, December 16, to Sunday, December 22, 2024.
  (You won’t be charged for lessons from Monday December 23 to Sunday December 29)
• Monday, December 30: Your direct debit will be for one week only.
  This charge is covering lessons from Monday, January 6, to Sunday, January 12, 2025.
  (You won’t be charged for lessons from Monday December 30 to Sunday January 5)
• Monday 13 January 2025: Normal direct debit resumes.

Example

Zack’s usual Swimming Day is a Tuesday and his direct debit will fall on Monday 16 December 2024. On Monday 16 December Zack will be charged for 1 lesson to cover his lesson on Tuesday 17 December. Zack is not charged for a second lesson as there are no lessons on Tuesday 24 December 2024.

On Monday 30 December Zack will be charged for 1 lesson to cover his lesson on Tuesday 07 January 2024. Zack is not charged for a second lesson as there are no lessons on Tuesday 31 December 2024.
